So, you know how you ask everyone to set a personal fitness goal to accomplish, such as a marathon or race? Well, I accomplished mine this weekend. I didn’t do a race because I hate running, (the boobs flail about and it’s just wrong) so I set a goal of doing a strenuous backpacking trip, which is much more my style. I hiked the Narrows at Zion National Park with 10 of my friends this weekend. It was 16 miles long walking in 50 degree water over large river cobble and boulders carrying a 30 lb pack. Although it was relatively flat and not difficult aerobically, I had to use every muscle in my body to keep myself from falling flat on my butt for two days.
Best of all, I was one of the oldest and most out-of-shape hikers on this trip and I hauled ass and beat them all. I was the 2nd to camp the first night and the first to the end the second day! I may not have been the fastest hiker, but I had the most endurance and didn’t need to stop and rest every hour, I just kept going! The first night at camp everyone was in shock that not only did I make it, but that I beat their twenty-something year old asses! Of course, I am a hydrologist and I hike in streams for a living, but it still isn’t easy!! Now if only the pain and soreness would go away!

Hello all and thanks for taking the time to stop in and check out the site. Lot’s going on with your Real Results family! Thanks to everyone so much for your patience with our new billing system. I am so happy to have Nikki Mosier, our new administrator on board. She is a wonderful addition to the group.
This Saturday at the Trails Community Center is the “Monster Bash” 5K!!! Please make sure to come and participate. An event such as a 5k is a great way to pressure yourself to get in much better condition. The race starts at 8am sharp. Please show early to register for the event the day of. Real Results clients get the special rate of $20.00 per person. We will have prize giveaways, a t shirt and snacks! It will be lot’s of fun and a chance to spend time with other successful Real Resutls clients! For more information, pleases call 341-5500
The 2nd annual “Couture For Causes“ Family BBQ will be held Sunday, October 18th.
These items will be re-sold with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit Three Square‘s “Backpack Program,” which in partnership with the Clark County School District provides kid-friendly, shelf-stable foods to children who lack adequate food over the weekend.
Last year more than 300 people attended throughout the day helping us raise over $15,000 from our very own backyard with the help of the chefs from The Wynn Las Vegas, and countless friends who gave their time, their efforts, and their couture.

Hello all, yes I am posting this quite late, but that is the nice thing about taking time off. I am in Seal Beach, CA, the weather right now is a very pleasant 65 degrees…I am really suffering being away from the Vegas heat as you could imagine. This post may include a few interesting tidbits of info. Below is a day that a client submitted to me for review. He is a male over the age of 40 and has lost 30 pounds since being working with Real Results Personal Fitness Trainer Chris Raznick at the 215 and West Flamingo LVAC.

A few years ago I had let myself go and hated it!!! I had ballooned to 213lbs on a 5’3″ frame. I was miserable. I truly thought that there was a pretty good chance that I wouldn’t get myself back. I had started trying to get back into the gym on my own and was having trouble because I felt embarrassed. I almost felt like I was too out of shape to even be in there with “those people”. Those people of course being the people I wanted to be…in shape and in control of their health and lives.
A girlfriend of mine, who looks amazing and has worked out for years, told me that she had a trainer. Of course I turned my nose up and said I could never afford it…which in girl code means I am terrified to even try that because then someone will actual be a witness to how far gone I am. She said that she trained with Paul Rosenberg and that he was very reasonable and that he would be able to help me. It took a couple of days but I finally got the courage to call.
Paul was actually not just a trainer but the owner of Real Results Fitness and had several qualified trainers that worked at many locations around town, thus making it impossible for me to say it would be inconvenient. It was time; I was ready to make a change in myself and grab hold of life again, so I signed up and began my journey with Paul and his program.
I jumped in with both feet. I worked hard everyday and made myself and my fitness a priority. I started officially April 2008 weighing in at 193lbs. Today I weigh 135lbs and have not only changed my body but my life as well. I have done things that I never thought possible. I completed a half marathon last December and then my first triathlon this past May. It is truly amazing the life I have gotten back simply by learning and living the Real Results program.
Paul taught me how to schedule time to make food that was tasty and healthy. He showed me how to hold myself accountable with a daily food and workout journals. He and Denny Silva, who I affectionately call my Polly Pockets of Torture (seriously do not let the size fool you…he will make you work!!!) took me from being a frumpy, overweight, miserable person and helped me become that fabulous and successful woman that I am today. The tools I’ve learned and the goals I have achieved continue to motivate me. Paul Rosenberg and Real Results program will not only change your body but it will change your life. Carpe diem!!!!
